Meta-Church Model

A couple of weeks ago, Marty Duren @ SBCOUTPOST asked me to write an article (750-1000 words) about the meta church model. I’m a big proponent of the model for church growth and believe in it.

I wrote about our church’s implementation of the meta-church model in a previous post. Others seek to use the mega-meta model, mega churches using satellite locations, ie Hybels, Stanley and Young, jr. That’s fine, whatever works. The church growth issue for me is (1) it is a biblical model, (2) is it kingdom oriented, (3) does it fit your context, (4) do you have the resources to pull it off.
